Cruora is a diabetes tracker for anyone living with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, and beyond). It lets you log and view your own diabetes data — and nothing more. This policy explains what we collect, how it's stored, and the choices you have. Cruora is currently an invite-only beta for consumer self-tracking.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, used to sign in.
• Health data you enter — blood-glucose readings, carbohydrates, insulin (bolus/basal), entry type, notes, and the date/time of each entry.
• Profiles you create — your own profile and any dependents you choose to track (e.g. a child), including their display name.
• Preferences — your theme and glucose-unit (mg/dL or mmol/L) settings.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles from your data.

How it's stored and protected

Your data is stored in our managed database provider (Supabase). It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access is enforced at the database level by row-level security, so your records are only accessible to you — and to anyone you explicitly choose to share with.

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide the app: to show your readings, averages, time-in-range, and charts. Cruora shows you just the data — it does not provide medical advice, interpretation, or dosing suggestions. We do not sell your data.

Sharing

Your data is private by default. It is shared only with people you explicitly authorize through the app's sharing model (for example, a family caregiver or a clinician). You can change or revoke sharing at any time. We do not share your data with anyone else.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its data by contacting us at the address below. Deleting your account removes your profiles, entries, and settings.

Dependents

If you track a dependent (such as a child), you are responsible for that data and for having the right to record it. Dependent records are governed by this same policy.

Regulatory note

Cruora is consumer self-tracking software and is not currently offered as a HIPAA-covered service. The system is built to support stricter safeguards (including a signed agreement and formal controls) if that becomes appropriate in the future.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
